We’re proud to work with talented professional entertainers throughout Southern California, and today we’re introducing one of our incredible artists: Senaida, a professional face painter, body painter, muralist and multidisciplinary artist based in the Jurupa Valley and Pedley area of Riverside, California.
More Than a Face Painter
Senaida brings the skills of a fine artist to every face she paints!
Her artistic abilities extend far beyond traditional event face painting or “cheek art”—she can also body paint her designs (in apropriate places of course) and she can face paint illustrations of characters and animals without having to look at a photo.
She is also experienced in commissioned artwork and murals, always incorporating sacred geometry with a perfection that is hard to come by! She is one of our favorite artists to send for pregnant belly painting designs, and she has blown us away with her ability to transform a pregnant belly into pure art that the mother-to-be is thrilled about!
That versatility allows her to adapt her face painting style to the event, and the person sitting in her chair. From colorful children's designs and whimsical characters, to sophisticated artwork for adults, festivals and themed celebrations, Senaida can work across many different styles and levels of detail.
Celebrating Día de los Muertos Through Art
One of Senaida's favorite artistic traditions is painting for Día de los Muertos, which is the Day of the Dead holiday celebrated in Mexico and now more commonly in California!
Drawing inspiration from her Mexican heritage, Senaida creates beautiful Catrina and sugar skull face paintings that celebrate the color, symbolism and artistry associated with this meaningful Mexican tradition.
Her Día de los Muertos work is especially wonderful for community celebrations, cultural festivals, private events, school events, corporate celebrations and anyone looking for a more detailed, artistic approach to Catrina or sugar skull face painting.

Senaida is bilingual in English and Spanish and has experience working with autistic children and children with special needs. Pregnant Belly Painting — A Beautiful Way to Celebrate Motherhood
Another very special part of Senaida's work is pregnant belly painting for mothers-to-be.
These sessions transform a mother's belly into a living canvas while creating a meaningful moment to celebrate pregnancy and the little one who is soon to arrive.
This is especially close to my heart because Senaida painted my belly during my own pregnancy. She created an incredible image of the Earth with a whale and hummingbird—a beautiful body painted belly-art filled with symbolism that became part of the memory of that pregnancy.
Our Pregnant Belly Painting Experience is more than simply having your belly painted. We allow approximately 1.5 hours so the experience doesn't feel rushed. During the session, we create space to set loving intentions for the baby who is coming, while Senaida creates a one-of-a-kind painting inspired by the mother, baby and imagery that feels meaningful to them.
We also take photos of the finished belly painting, giving the mother beautiful images to keep long after the paint itself is gone.
